Reminder Re: Building Schemes

Good morning, our final email of the summer, and much like last one, it deals with covenants on title.

Another article appeared in the Vancouver Sun yesterday regarding covenants on title –  Neighbours clash as Coquitlam land assembly blocked by 1960s covenant | Vancouver Sun. This article is another example of a building scheme on title restricting the development of townhomes. Again, the building scheme is in favour of a builder who is now out of business.

Once again we stress the importance of  having title reviewed, either by yourself, where you take the risk, or by Terra Firma Title Review (terrafirmareview.com), where the risk is shifted to us!

Pretty sure we are at the point where a realtor would be negligent and successfully sued if a title is not reviewed. And don’t forget this should be done before subject removal. Once it gets to a lawyer’s office it is too late as all subjects are removed.

Terra Firma provides realtors within the Lower Mainland to have their title searches reviewed by one of Spagnuolo LLP’s lawyers. With Terra Firma now available on an annual, monthly or one-off basis, there is no reason not to have title searches reviewed for ALL properties in the Lower Mainland and Squamish/Whistler.

As a side note, Terra Firma has now processed over 100,000 work orders, and has over 130,000 charges already reviewed!

All of our pricing details can be found at Pricing – Terra Firma Title Review (terrafirmareview.com).

As always, thanks for your support.
